Something weird

There is a hoax on facebook, where we can see the most famous violin player was playing at a metro station in Washington DC. Nobody noticed it. Only a few people stopped for a few minutes.

I wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! New music genre with SoulAttic and first experiences with the University. (December 2011)

First of all, let me wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The last quarter of 2011 was unbelievable busy. I did so many different things...probably a bit too many...

Queen is the best rock band ever.

This is a fact. I was driving back home when this song was played. I had to listen to it three more times after each other. This is from a less successful CD, and it's like a "B" side track...but this shows the quality of the band. Unbelievable voice, fantastic vocals, so sophisticated guitar, solos and great lyrics as always...for me they are the best band ever...

I have been admitted to Stafford University to learn Music Production! (October 2011)

I've been trying this for two years. It's very hard to find the right course. I have a little studio, and I've been working as a Sound Engineer/Music producer for five years and at the end of the course I'll have a degree from this :-)

I loved this story from Joe Bonamassa yesterday! (October 2011)

He had had flu a week ago and had to cancel a few gigs. He knew he had sold almost ten thousand tickets to the London gigs so wanted to do everything to be healthy again.

Moving to Coleshill, New Music Recording Studio(August 2011)

We wanted to move, as our previous house was a bit too old...a real cottage :-) The search conditions were the following: Three bedrooms, garden, garage and outskirt of Birmingham.

BBC Radio and Yardbird Jazz Club (May 2011)

This is a very successful period for us! My little blues song I told you got some airplay on BBC Radio! The very cool bluesy lyric was written by Milli, and I played all the instruments :-)

The Band - October 2010

More musicians - more trouble

Our new musicians got a CD with our songs on it, and they started to learn the grooves. When we first met in the rehearsal room we were shocked as it's not enough to know the chords, the grooves and the lyrics. This is only the zero point. We had to learn and sort out all the complicated parts together. Very very useful to record all the rehearsals, as you can listen to it back next day, with "clean ears".

The first blues. March 2010

I haven't posted anything into this blog since last november. Let's see what happened since then.

I have had a blog entry about my new band SoulAttic. I am sure you know how much time do we need to sort out this project. We have been rehearsing and gigging for a while, and I still appreciate the attitude of Milli.  She and her attitude really inspires me and this is very important. Milli is very keen and I really appreciate this.
